The activities of the university in the Mozyr region began in March 1944 on the basis of the Rogachev Teachers' Institute. The institute included three departments: language and literature, physics and mathematics, and historical and geographical, which were attended by 210 people. The first graduation of specialists took place in 1946. 190 teachers of history, language and literature, physics and mathematics, natural history and geography were sent to Polesye schools.

In 1952, by the Decree of the Council of Ministers No. 999 of July 22, 1952, the Mozyr Teachers' Institute was reorganized into the Mozyr Pedagogical Institute.

In 1964, by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR, the Mozyr State Pedagogical Institute was named after N.K. Krupskaya.

- I graduated from the Mozyr State Pedagogical Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya in 1984, faculty of OTDiF (general technical disciplines and physics), with honors. I was interested in professions related to working with people, such as a teacher, a doctor, I never had a desire to deal with numbers, mechanisms, etc. There were three of us in the family, and parents could not afford to teach three children at once in another city. Dad was a military man, and at the family council, my twin sister and I were asked to enter the Mozyr Pedagogical Institute and get the profession of a teacher, and my older sister studied in Moscow at the Polytechnic University. The student years were very eventful: my sister and I went in for sports, constantly went to competitions and excursions. I played in the basketball team of the university, I was the head of the group. The teaching staff was powerful, I really liked the teaching system and lectures of N.K. Shchur, V.I. Tsvetkov, V.K. Pakshtas, L.A. Klimova, V.S. S. Chikova and others. They enjoyed great prestige among the students. By the way, the first textbooks on labor education were written by the teacher of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute I.A. Karabanov. It seems to me that each of these people has made some contribution to the formation of me as a person. The dean of the faculty was V.P. There was always respect, there was no familiarity, we could not even allow the thought to behave uncivilized. It seemed that these people have perfect knowledge, and we will never reach such heights. We tried to teach lessons, discussed a lot, visited schools. Already in my 4th year, I was ready to teach lessons, and with pleasure I conducted them at school No. 4 when it was necessary to replace the teacher. I felt responsible and at the same time respectful attitude on the part of teachers, the desire to help. It was an interesting time, I gained a lot of knowledge. And then for many years I turned to the teachers of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy for help. It is always a pleasure to return to your native Alma mater and walk along the corridors. You are not a stranger here. They recognize you, stop and ask how life has turned out. I have never regretted that I graduated from the Mozyr Pedagogical Institute, and I am proud that I studied within its walls.

Then I graduated in absentia from the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, also with honors, and deepened my knowledge. On February 27, 2018, a competition of national cuisine for foreign students was held in hostel No. 3, organized by the department for educational work with youth together with the trade union committee of students.

Students from Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Ukraine, Russia and the Republic of Belarus took part in the competition.

The contestants (girls and boys) prepared superbly. Each team prepared several sweet dishes: brushwood, halva, pies with various fillings, pancakes, pies, muffins, etc. The participants of the competition told the audience about the peculiarities of cooking national dishes, while everyone was dressed in the national clothes of their country.

Each contestant presented his national dish. The jury determined the best participants in the nominations: "For the best presentation of dishes", "For the originality of the idea of serving dishes", "For national color".

On February 2, 2017, as part of the events dedicated to the Day of Belarusian Science, as well as in connection with the announcement of 2017 as the Year of the students of the EE of the Moscow State Pedagogical University named after. I.P. Shamyakin was visited National Academy Sciences of Belarus.

The tour was organized by the council of young scientists and the student scientific society with the support of the primary trade union organization of university students.

At the Central Scientific Library named after Yakub Kolas of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, students got acquainted with the history of the library, modern information resources and services, visited the memorial office of the Belarusian writer Pyotr Glebka and the exposition of the department of rare books and manuscripts.

In order to familiarize themselves with the national historical science, students visited the archaeological scientific and museum exposition of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Students of the Moscow State Pedagogical University I.P. Shamyakina at the festival of youth creativity "Student autumn"

At the initiative of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus within three days, from 15 to 17 November, representatives of 38 Belarusian universities participated in festival of youth creativity "Student autumn" in Minsk, where they were able to show their creative abilities and ask topical questions that concern students.

On Tuesday, November 15 with the participation of the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Michael Horde and Minister of Education Mikhail Zhuravkov, as well as heads of major industrial enterprises countries passed student summit "Vector of Growth" , within the framework of which the awarding of student trade union activists - laureates of the FPB scholarship took place. The same evening, the solemn opening of the “Student Autumn” took place at the site of the Minsk State Linguistic University. The mood for the most anticipated youth event of the autumn was set by the finalists of the Republican trade union competition of creativity of labor collectives “New Names of Belarus” and Belarusian pop stars.

The second day of the festival, November 16, became the most intense and eventful day - competitive tests revealed the best in the nominations "Vocal", "Instrumental genre", "Choreography", "Original genre". 5th year student of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering of the Ural State Pedagogical University. I.P. Shamyakina Andrey Efremov took 3rd place in the nomination "Instrumental genre". Participants were also able to attend specialized master classes of professionals in their field. This day of “Student Autumn” was also interesting for applicants, because it was on November 16 that the project “University Environment” was launched as part of the festival, the purpose of which is to help students decide on their future specialty.

Hello freshman!

In the first days of September, the trade union activists of the faculties of the EE of the Moscow State Pedagogical University named after. I.P. Shamyakina and the chairman of the primary trade union organization of students Strukov V.V. held meetings with 1st year students, where they introduced with goals and objectives Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers in general, and also spoke in detail about the activities of the primary trade union organization of university students. As a result of these meetings, all first-year students joined the ranks of the branch trade union.

September 16 as part of the action "Hello freshman!" a meeting of the trade union activists of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering with freshmen took place, who were presented with trade union tickets and products with the logo of the trade union organization.

Student Forum

From May 13 to May 15, 2016, the VI Republican Student Forum was held in Mogilev, organized by the HELP THEM TO LIVE Foundation (Italy) and the educational institution Mogilev State University them. A.A. Kuleshova. The forum was attended by more than 180 students from 10 universities of the Republic of Belarus, including the delegation of the EE MSPU. I.P. Shamyakina of 28 people (headed by V.V. Strukov, chairman of the primary trade union organization of the university).
The Student Forum has been held in the Republic of Belarus since 2010. The goal of the project is to unite the efforts of Italian families and Belarusian students in the implementation of humanitarian actions in favor of needy children.
On May 14, a charity fair and the action "Childhood Holiday" were held, where students of participating universities presented goods of their own production. On the same day, a charity concert of the Belarusian musical group"I MODENA" (Rechitsa) and the Italian musical group "YUMAL".
Within the framework of the Forum, the competitions "Best Student of the Year 2016" and "Voice of Hope" were held. In the competition "The best student of the year-2016" was won by a student of the Faculty of Philology of the Ural State Pedagogical University. I.P. Shamyakina Kalenik Christina.

At the trade union committee of students of the EE MGPU them. I.P. Shamyakin, a volunteer group "Children with Big Hearts" was created, led by a student of the Faculty of Philology Kristina Kalenik. On March 15, 2016, on the day of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the trade union committee of students of the EE of the Moscow State Pedagogical University named after. Memorable pages of history

On January 14, 2016, a solemn rally dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of Mozyr and the Mozyr region from the Nazi invaders was held, in which the administration, teachers, staff and students of the university took part.
On the same day, students and teachers of the university visited veterans - former employees of our university: Frida Yakovlevna Kochubey, Vladimir Danilovich Kochubey, Ekaterina Filippovna Romanova.
