The tradition of saying goodbye to school is back in Soviet Union after the war. Even in those difficult years graduates tried to dress up for dances at graduation parties. So, for example, collars with lace ruffles came into fashion, which schoolgirls could sew on their own to the dress.

In addition to dancing, there was another entertainment for graduates - skits. The guys staged excerpts from plays and humorous sketches of their own composition.
