Sometimes a person falls under the influence of dark forces, becomes a victim of damage or the evil eye, without having the slightest idea about it. The Akathist to Cyprian and Justina should be read precisely in such cases.

General information and history

Saints Cyprian and Justina come to the aid of a man who has suffered from the influence of dark and evil forces. They will help him cope with the obstacles that suddenly fell to his lot. Since this text belongs to the genre called "akathist", it is recommended to pronounce it while standing, because this is how you should ask the saints for help and protection.

Some Christians, before saying such a prayer, prefer to make sure that they have been damaged. The main features include the following points:

  • loss of appetite and pain throughout the body;
  • sudden fear, feeling of anxiety;
  • often manifested and at the same time unreasonable irritability, aggression;
  • desire to commit suicide;
  • severe mental anguish that unreasonably torment a person;
  • the appearance in the head of "alien voices" (auditory hallucinations);
  • insomnia. However, in some cases, a person constantly wants to sleep, yawns and, in principle, feels exhausted.

If some akathists are allowed to be recited exclusively in the morning, then this song is read at any time. The only exception may be church posts.

In order for the akathist to help you get rid of dark forces, it is necessary to put all your thoughts and faith in its effectiveness into it while reading. It is very important to correctly place stress in words. Thus, you will achieve what you have in mind. Even if, in the process of reading the prayer, not the best thoughts appeared in your head, you should by no means stop - the akathist dedicated to Saints Cyprian and Justina must be read to the end.

In our time, godless people often turn to various magicians and fortune-tellers, trying to harm their relatives, avenge them for the wrongs they have caused, or trying to win over someone. In this case, a special program is put - damage. It is aimed at harming a person or even provoking his death.

The essence of the story described in the akathist lies in the fact that Cyprian once lived in Antioch and was a pagan. Moreover, he was considered a sorcerer who could send demons to people. One day a rich young man named Aglaid approached him. He wanted to punish the girl (Justina), with whom he was in love, but who did not reciprocate his feelings. However, Cyprian's attempts came to nothing. He realized the horror of his actions, understood the power of the Lord, and renounced his deeds, converted to Christianity. Cyprian became a bishop, and Justina went to a monastery, where she served as abbess. Together they were martyred for Christ.

What is remarkable about the akathist dedicated to Cyprian and Justina is that it is a kind of “shield” that can protect a person from dark and evil spells. But in order for prayer to really help, it is very important to protect yourself from everything and put all your thoughts into the chant. Only in this case, the utterance of such a prayer will give the desired result, and your physical and mental well-being will improve significantly.

The akathist itself tells about the life and deeds of the saints, which are based on the records of their contemporaries. The work also mentions the suffering from the persecution of Christians under the Roman ruler Diocletian.

Life of the Hieromartyr

In his youth, the guy was engaged in black magic and was a sorcerer. He studied it so diligently that he became the most famous sorcerer in his area. Once a young man came to the sorcerer and asked him to bewitch the girl. Cyprian performed the ritual, but nothing worked.

The sorcerer became furious and began to send all sorts of disasters on the relatives of Justin, but nothing worked. They were protected Orthodox prayer girls. Then the sorcerer realized that the pagan deities were powerless before God and believed Christ by being baptized.

Watch also the video with the akathist to Hieromartyr Cyprian:

In life, there are times when a person becomes a victim of black magic and witchcraft, without even knowing it. He suddenly falls ill or feels unwell, loses his job or loved ones, in the life of such a person literally everything goes awry. Sometimes a successful businessman suddenly becomes a beggar and becomes an inveterate drunkard, or a young woman “dries up” before our eyes, and doctors cannot establish a diagnosis. Thus, evil spells, damage or the evil eye work.

The Akathist to Cyprian and Justinia will help a person resist witchcraft and protect him from the attack of the forces of darkness. The word "akathist" means "singing while standing", that is, such a prayer must be read standing, glorifying the blessings of the saints and asking them for protection and help.

How to find out that a person has been damaged? Here are some signs of such a destructive process:

  • Loss of appetite and pain in the body.
  • Sudden "sticky fear", a feeling of anxiety.
  • Constant groundless irritability and aggression.
  • The desire to lay hands on oneself.
  • Unbearable mental suffering of indeterminate origin.
  • The appearance of "foreign voices" in the head (auditory hallucinations).
  • Constant insomnia or, conversely, excessive drowsiness and yawning.

Akathist to Cyprian and Justinia can be read at any time of the day, the only exception is the period church posts. The main point when reading an akathist is absolute concentration and faith in the effectiveness of what was conceived. Even if various thoughts (thoughts) sent by the devil appear in the head, one cannot stop in prayer. Particular attention should be paid to the correct placement of stress in words. Only in this way can a favorable result be obtained.

How does the Akathist to Cyprian and Justin help?

First of all, in getting rid of evil spells and witchcraft, induced damage and the evil eye, healing mental ailments. Unfortunately, in modern world many godless people turn to magicians, fortune-tellers and sorcerers to harm their fellow men. They are controlled by envy, the desire to take revenge or win over. The result of the performed magical rituals is damage - a powerful negative program, essentially aimed at causing harm or death to a person.

Who are Justinia and Cyprian? (A little about the history of the life of the saints)

The Orthodox Church celebrates Cyprian and Justinia's Memorial Day on October 15th. The holy martyrs were executed in Nicomedia in 304.

Before converting to Christianity, Cyprian was a famous sorcerer in Antioch and successfully sent demons on people. Once a rich young man Aglaid asked the sorcerer to cast spells on the young Christian Justina, with whom he was in love, but did not receive her favor. “Christ is my Bridegroom; I serve Him alone and for His sake I keep my purity, ”the girl always refused the groom.

With the help of demonic power, Cyprian tried three times to influence Justina, but the demons had no power over her, since the girl protected herself with the Sign of the Cross, as well as prayer and fasting.

Even after Cyprian sent pestilence on the city in which Justina lived, the demons could not resist the prayer power of the Christian. The sorcerer realized powerlessness evil spirits before the Almighty, repented of his sins, gave his magic books to Bishop Anfim for burning, renounced paganism and converted to Christianity. Soon Cyprian became a bishop and with his prayer life equaled the great saints. Justina went to the monastery, where she was elected abbess (abbess).

Cyprian and Justina preached Christianity together, and later they were martyred for Christ and now have power over demons. Interesting fact: a certain Theoktist (a warrior who saw the martyrdom of innocent Christians) also declared himself a Christian and suffered execution along with them. The miraculous relics of the saints now rest on the island of Cyprus in the village of Meniko, within the walls of the temple named after them.

The protective power of the akathist to Cyprian and Justina

How does the Akathist to Cyprian and Justina work? With prayerful words, they resort to the saints in order to protect them from evil spirits sent by sorcerers. Since the Hieromartyr Cyprian has passed the path of serving the dark forces, he has power over them. Being currently in heavenly abodes, the saint helps those who call him to overcome negative impact evil forces.

The righteous Justina defeats unclean spirits, so the akathist to these two saints has double power. Prayer acts as a kind of "shield", protecting from envious and "eyed" people, black magicians and sorcerers. Of course, the text of the akathist, like any prayer, should be read from the heart, deeply believing and fully relying on the omnipotence of the Lord.

The akathist deals with the life and earthly exploits of Cyprian and Justina, based on the notes of their contemporaries. The text also mentions the persecution of Christians committed under the Roman ruler Diocletian.
